Oru Naal (One Day).. A storyline based on the Tragic Day of India.. This movie was scripted in a two hours time.. My choices were between Fantasy and Tragedy for the IIIrd competitive round in Nallaiya Iyyakunar show... It was really challenging to script a storyline that can make people cry.. It requires more of love and reality in the line to make the audience believe the screen and start assuming the characters are true.. Well.. This short would definetly have a place in my heart all the time.. I have watched it nearly 30 times.. and i never get bored of this baby.. I love it :)

The Beginning...

Well, Short film directed for my I st competetive round in Nallaiya Iyakkunar show..
the topic is College Story.. I decided to avoid all the cliche' , stereo types which many had experimented with college background..


College life might change your path of life.. You face the reality and get more matured .. Its a science lab where the rat escapes alive and experiment still continues..


I did my Bachelors in Information Technology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering, Coimbatore.. Me and my college friend had good rapo with the co workers of the institute.. We had fun with the cafeteria guyz, Bus drivers and librarians.. Felt its a good relationship to be potrayed in a movie.. And thats the first line of the samaritans...


One fine day.. on the way to my office , a flash of college community service council spotted me.. Called my crew , asked them to enquire about any intresting and innovative community service council thats blooming around India.. Luckily we had a friend who governed Samaritans Community at MDI, Gurgoan..

It all started with the topic I picked for II nd competetive round in Nalaiya Iyyakunar II reality show for short film makers... I choosed "Horror" from the list of choices..Just to prove a point .. I am a hardcore fan of M Night Shymalan


Source of Inspiration... 


The character name "Amudha" played by P S Keerthana from mani ratnam's Kannathil Mutthamittal.. Is it for a r rahman or the storyline or the casting of the movie.. I am not very sure.. but it holds a good rank in my fav movie list..  


Character "Bo" by Abigail Breslin from SIGNS .. M Night Shyamalan.. The god of Horror.. He has the perfect sense of making horror flicks with very little resource. James Newton Howard (music) with Shyamalan.. its a sure blockbuster...
Bo is one sweet tweety bird with dull costume, long hair , crisp dialogues..  


Amudha was portrayed with the shades of above two colors..
